GOTY 2015 Rumors

Hey Everybody!
This post is kind of to sum up what we know about Girl of the Year 2015 as of now. I remember that Isabelle was leaked and Saige was also leaked so I assume that American Girl has now learned their lesson to be more careful now.

The American Girl website, says these limited-edition dolls "give voice to a diverse range of personalities and backgrounds." - Have you ever owned an American Girl Doll? Would you purchase the new Girl of the Year doll for your child? Do you believe there should be more dolls like this one?

If you remember early on that ABC did announce that GOTY 2015 would have a disability.

On Amazon, Mary Casanova was announced as the author. Mary Casanova has written The Jess Series (2006), The Chrissa Series (2009), and The Mckenna Series (2012). So it only makes sense for her to write GOTY 2015's story with her 3 year pattern.

On Amazon, Sarah Davis was announced as the illustrator. Sarah Davis has illustrated The Kanani Series (2011) and The Saige Series (2013). It seems like she is also having a 2 year pattern. Hmmmmmm, I wonder who will illustrate GOTY 2017's series???

Nine-year-old GOTY is always thinking up big ideas, like starting a business with her friends over the summer! When Mom announces a trip to Paris instead, GOTY gets on board, but it quickly seems as if none of her plans are working out the way she'd hoped. French cousin or step sister? Do her grandparents have a bakery or ice cream shop? I thought she wanted to start a business with her friends not her grandparents? Can somebody please help clear up my confusion in the comments. 

GOTY 2015's code name is Coco but this will probably not be her real name. FYI: Isabelle's code name was Blanche. Weird right?? I can't imagine Isabelle with that name. Keep looking for more information on Girl of The Year 2015.

My Plan!

Hey Everybody!
I know that I haven't posted but don't worry I am not going to stop posting on this blog. I have just been very busy with starting French this year and taking the Advanced Math program at my school and the Advanced Language Arts program.The good news is that my birthday is coming up soon! Well sort of???

November 16th!

I know that my original plan was to get the My Girl's Dollhouse.

But it is wayyyyyy too big for my house.

So we are going to build a dollhouse inside my closet. I will post some pictures when we get started.

So, here is my new plan:

1. Ask for mostly American Girl gift cards for my birthday.

2. Ask for mostly American Girl gift cards for Christmas.

3. Go to AGP for GOTY 2015's release and get her and many of her accessories and furniture.

I ❤️ Summer! 20 Reasons in 20 days!!

Hey Everybody! I am extremely sorry that I haven't posted for more than a week!! To make it up to everyone I will be posting 1 thing I love about Summer everyday until June 28th! After June 28th I will no longer be posting on this blog for the entire Summer! Don't worry! My dolls will be posting on my new blog for the summer called 2 Dolls On The Go. Which some of you may have already seen. The blog is about 2 of my dolls traveling to England which is where I will be going on my summer vacation.Two of my dolls will be going (that's all I have room for) I just haven't really decided which. At first it was going to be Savannah and Isabelle but now since I have got Kanani I am not really sure. That's where you guys come in. Please cast you're vote on the side bar to decide which 2 dolls you would like to hear from over the Summer. I can't wait to tell you why I love Summer!!

AG News Catch Up

Hey Everybody! I haven't posted in a while because I've been very busy with homework and Hannah's birthday (which is May 29th in case anyone was wondering). I totally forgot about Who Wore It Best Wednesday and the Kit review which will hopefully be up soon. This is what was announced on Facebook. GOTY 2015 will definitely have a disability. I don't know about you but I am very excited about this. I am hoping to get her entire collection for Christmas and my birthday.

"Be Forever" Rumors

Hey Everybody! For a couple of months the AG blogging world has been buzzing about the new trademark that is on trademarkia. Click here to see what I'm talking about. So, This is what it says on trademarkia:

I have heard that Be Forever will be the new name for the Historical dolls because AG is revamping the historical collection. Here are the list of dolls that are probably going to be archived to make room for Samantha and the 50's doll who's name is still uncertain (we'll get to that later).

These dolls keep repeatedly having items go on sale and many of their items become sold out. They also had no new items during AG's spring release.


As for everybody else I think they are safe but you can never be too sure. So, I was just checking out some of my favorite blogs when I spotted that one of them had posted about "Be Forever". Agoverseasfan has posted a new video that shows proof that "Be Forever" might actually be real.

On Living a Doll's life I've heard that the image may have been photoshopped but this is still uncertain at the time. Someone also found an image that looked exactly like Agoverseasfan's "Be Forever" image except the box did not have the same "Be Forever" logo on it. The "Be Forever" logo supposedly may have been leaked by the same Ebay account that leaked the new Samantha doll and My American Girl #61 who is a Saige look alike. Go check it out by clicking here.

I also heard that there is going to be a new 50's historical doll. Everybody has seen the leaked prototype pictures but they were thankfully taken down. I heard that Grace Thomas was going to be the name of the 50's doll but now I heard that Grace Thomas will be the name of GOTY 2015. I am really confused.

Some changes will might also be going on for My American Girl. Apparently every 2 years the meet outfit is changed so the True Spirit outfit has been around since around 2012 so that means that 2014
should be the year for a new meet outfit. With this new meet outfit charms may also be disappearing. They are also due for a new name since the change from Just Like You to My American Girl a couple of years ago.

Kanani's Coming!!

Hey Everybody! It's official! Kanani is actually coming. I won the auction for her on ebay which was way more than I intended to pay for her but I really really wanted her. Even if she doesn't come in her meet outfit she is in pretty good condition so that's a good thing. Here are some pictures of her from the auction.

She also comes in this pretty hairstyle.

She should arrive by Thursday or Friday.

Hi Everybody! So, You are probably wondering what update mean. This is just something that I might do once in a while to tell you everything that's going on. I am going to handle everything one step at a time so be patient.

Ask Ally might continue soon. I'm not exactly sure what's going on with that because my friend is in charge of it but I'll find out about that as soon as possible.

Hannah
If your wondering what happened to Hannah don't worry because she should have a post up soon. She has just been pretty busy with school work and gymnastics.

Kit, Elix, Nick, and Kylie
Well, Some stuffing was coming out of Kit's head so I took it off and now I can't get it back on so I mostly use Savannah and Isabelle for photos. I'm still trying to find some new clothes for Nick. Elix and Kylie might be back soon.

I just found a new doll sized find so I will post that later this week.

Samantha Update!

2-If you had to move to Europe what country/city would you move to?: I would move to England because I have a lot of family there.

3-Who is your idol?: At the minute I really like Demi Lovato so I would probably consider her my idol right now.

I would travel into the 70's. I think it would be really cool to hang out with Julie!

I just checked Living a Doll's Life and apparently Ivy's rainbow romper is sold out. Does this mean that Ivy is going to be archived or is American Girl just retiring one of her outfits?

Rumors About Grace Thomas, Cecile and Marie Grace, and Best Friend Dolls

Will Grace Thomas be the new historical doll? Rumor has it that she is from the 50's and will be released in 2015. I have also heard that Marie Grace and Cecile are going to be archived. I find this odd because they were released recently. I guess they did poorly in sales and American girl needs to make room for Samantha and the new historical girl. I am also wondering if the best friend dolls will be retired. Hannah has recently taken an interest in Ivy so it might be a good idea to get her soon. While searching I figured out that American girl is making a big announcement in April. Will it be about Cecile and Marie Grace?
