Kit's Reporter Set Replica Tutorial

Hi, I'm back!
Here's a quick tutorial that I learned from this really awesome website called American Girl Ideas that I tweaked a little, please check it out!!





This is Kit's real reporter set.
I didn't make everything, but I did make the photos, camera, newspaper, notes, and kodak case.

Camera

1: Wrap 7 by 3 inch cardboard around in a circle, then tape it. Fill it with tissue paper. Then wrap the cardboard in black duct tape. This is the base of your camera. To make the camera's carrying handle, wrap duct take in half and then tape it. Use construction paper wrapped in duct tape to make the lens. To make the buttons, use a hole puncher to punch out to holes in white paper. Glue them to the camera where you see appropriate.

Notebook

2: I decided to make my notebook the opposite way of Kit's real notebook but do as you see fit. Fold a piece of black construction paper in half, I don't have the approximate measurement but make it doll sized. Inside, glue a folded up white piece of paper. Write, Notes on the cover with a marker or pen.

To make everything else, use the wonderful print outs from American Girl Ideas. I wanted to make the kodak case seem old, so I covered it in modge podge.

Hi, I'm back!! Yes, I've been gone for like forever. I'm hoping to slowly ease back into the American Girl blogging world.  The picture above is of Isabelle and I took it today, I really like it.

I know some of you have been following my blog for AGES. Thank you so much!!!!You guys are the best! 

I'm also planning on a trip to the AG store in April so I'm excited about that,  I probably won't get the girl of the year this year, I don't really think that she's pretty but that's just my opinion. I really want to get #61 though. If I got her, I would probably call her America. I also kind of want Maryellen and Ivy.

Also, Does anyone know what happened to AGDtime she used to be one of my favorite bloggers?

A: It is going okay. I still have some adjustments to make though.

A: I don't really check out many doll blogs anymore but if you comment a link I will definitely check it out.

Q: Did you get any new dolls?

A: Yes, I got Grace Thomas, and I went to the American Girl Place Boston to get her. It was really fun! I also met elevendollstars.

Q: What dolls do you want right now?

A: Ivy and Caroline.

Q: How old are you?

Q: Are you going to delete this blog?

A: No, I will keep it up. It has too many memories to take down.

Q: Do you have a youtube?

A: No, not yet. I might get one but I just don't have time at the moment.

Q: Why did you stop posting?

A: It takes a very long time for me to upload pictures and it was especially hard since I was using a very old computer(2005)to post but now I have a new Macbook Air from 2011 so I may be posting a little more than usual.

Apology Letter

I am so sorry that I never really post anymore. I have been so busy with my advanced classes this year that I just haven't had much time to upload pictures which take a while since I don't have my own laptop so I need to borrow my mom's to post. I am probably not going to post for a long time again but I will be starting an Instagram account for my blog that will be updated more since that is more easy for me to access. I hope you guys will follow me if you have an account. And by the way this not a goodbye. I WILL NOT BE DELETING THIS BLOG!! Prototype Pictures for New Historical

Hey Everybody,
So I know a while ago Char from Doll Diaries didn't really want us to post this but a lot of time has passed since then so I am hoping that it is okay and right now I just want you to know that I am currently not 100 percent happy with Doll Diaries right now because about month or two ago  I went through the trouble of taking and resizing a picture for Throwback Fall but they suddenly decided that they were not doing Throwback Thursday anymore which I think was not fair for all the people who sent in pictures. I still like Doll Diaries website I am just not very happy about this particular thing and I know Char is very busy and can't post everything (no hate please). Now lets get to the historical prototype pictures:
